Asian Handicap
A football betting format developed in Asia that eliminates the draw outcome by giving the weaker team a virtual head start. Extremely popular for Liga Super Malaysia and EPL markets — reduces risk and typically offers better value than traditional 1X2 betting.
Over/Under (Totals)
A bet on whether the total combined score of a match will be over or under a set figure. For example, an Over 2.5 goals bet on an EPL fixture pays out if three or more goals are scored in the match, regardless of who wins.
Odds Formats
Three main formats exist — Decimal (e.g., 2.50, common in Europe), Fractional (e.g., 3/2, common in UK), and American (e.g., +150 / -200). aatoto defaults to Decimal odds which are easiest to calculate: multiply your stake by the decimal odds to get your total return including stake.
RTP (Return to Player)
The theoretical long-term percentage of wagered money a slot or casino game returns to players. An RTP of 96% means for every RM100 bet over millions of spins, RM96 is returned on average. Higher RTP = better odds for the player over time.
House Edge
The mathematical advantage the casino holds over players on any given game. Baccarat has one of the lowest house edges (~1.06% on Banker), while American Roulette has one of the highest (~5.26%). Understanding house edge helps you choose games wisely.
Wagering Requirement
The number of times you must bet your bonus before withdrawing any bonus-derived winnings. A RM100 bonus with 10x wagering requires RM1,000 in total bets. Always check this before claiming any promotion — it's the single most important bonus term.
